Opening its doors in 2013 and expanding in 2017, this state-of-the-art acute care facility has 177 patient rooms and offers a wide variety of services to meet community needs. The Telemetry/Neurology Unit specializes in the monitoring of various neurological conditions and diagnoses. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare education as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills. 

A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM – 7:30AM. 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:   

  • Provide direct nursing care.  

  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.   

  • Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.   

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol. 

  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.   

  • Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.  

  • Educate patients and their families, considering cultural issues and other special concerns.   

  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.  

  • Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing 

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)  

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) 

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within one year of hire <
