Relativity (Chicago, IL) seeks a R&D Engineer to ensure the company continued leadership in creating AI solutions to identify and protect sensitive information by researching new methodologies for unsolved problems in the space of machine learning, natural language processing & social network analysis. Specific duties include: architect and build our next-generation AI algorithm platform using cutting-edge tools and frameworks; designing and developing performant, scalable and maintainable AI-powered applications in mission-critical domains; solve novel research problems together with best-in-class AI experts; Improve and extend our complex distributed core data processing pipeline. Option to work remotely.
Position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, or a closely related engineering degree, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or similar experience in software development. Specific experience must include: building AI powered systems utilizing Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning; applying strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and computational complexity; working with software development life cycle, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Must have experience with at least one Deep Learning framework such as PyTorch or Tensorflow. Must have experience in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C#/C++; Additionally, must have experience with Scikit-learn or Pandas. Option to work remotely.
