RemoteWe are looking for interns who aspire to be business development professionals and want to learn more about our projects with the military customer. Our MAH Intern will dive into the daily activities of Collins Aerospace BD while leading special projects that directly support Avionics leadership’s goals. You will be introduced to the integrated product team, OEMs, government, and military customers. And your project will have a lasting impact on the MAH team.
To be successful, you must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, work well independently and in a team environment, and be self-motivated with a commitment to understanding and satisfying customer needs.
What You Will Do:
- You will work closely with the larger Sales Team on a daily basis to learn about the business and products
- You will develop a broad knowledge about business development, and prepare yourself for the next step in Collin Aerospace
- You will lead special projects that lead to efficiencies for the larger Sales Team
- Candidate will work closely with Aftermarket Business Development Team members, as well as the global sales team, contracts and program values stream leaders.
- You will receive a better understanding of the missions of militaries around the world
What You Will Learn:
- You will become familiar with our customer resource management tool, Salesforce, and various other business development resources such as Highspot
- You will be introduced to the Challenger methodology for solving customer problems
- You will learn about the technologies that make aircraft smarter, safer and connected
- You will learn business development skills, and learn the different roles associated with the integrated product team
- You will learn leadership, time management, and collaboration
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook tools, primarily Office, Teams, and Sharepoint
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills are required
- Ability to quickly learn new tools
- Knowledge of SAP, Tableau and other business applications is desired but not required
