Questex LLC is looking for a talented Financial Systems Administrator to join our Technology Team and work closely with our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage and maintain our financial systems, ensuring they run smoothly to support our financial operations. This role involves system administration, process improvement, and user support to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial systems.

Reports To: VP of Technology

As our Financial Systems Administrator you’ll support Questex’s success by:

• System Administration:
• Manage and maintain financial systems, including ERP and accounting software.
• Perform regular system audits to ensure data integrity, security, and accuracy.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to keep systems current and aligned with vendor support.

• System Implementation and Integration:
• Lead or support the implementation of new financial systems or modules.
• Ensure seamless integration between financial systems and other business applications.
• Coordinate with other departments to align system functionality with business needs.
• Develop and maintain system integration documentation.
• Create and implement Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) processes for all financial systems.

• User Support and Training:
• Provide technical support to finance team members and other system users.
• Develop and deliver training programs and documentation for end-users.
• Assist in resolving system-related inquiries and issues promptly.
• Create and maintain support processes and a knowledge base of frequently asked questions and solutions.

• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to implement best practices and streamline workflows.
• Stay updated on the latest financial systems and technology trends.
• Conduct regular reviews of financial systems processes and propose improvements.

• Data Management and Reporting:
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry, processing, and reporting within financial systems.
• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics tools.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing necessary system reports and data.

• Compliance and Security:
• Ensure financial systems comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Implement and maintain system security measures to protect sensitive financial data.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.

• Vendor Management:
• Liaise with software vendors and service providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective services.
• Manage contracts, renewals, and service level agreements (SLAs) with financial system vendors.
• Evaluate and recommend new financial system vendors and solutions as needed.

• Project Management:

• • Manage financial systems projects from inception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements for financial systems initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
