Per course adjunct faculty in the Counseling Department for the Forensic Psychology program's course, FPSY 786-01.

Qualifications

FPSY 786 Supervised Field Placement (Forensic Only) (3 Units)

Wednesdays 7:15 - 10:00 PM.

This course entails a small group supervision based on the students’ current range of knowledge and current field placement experience. Students will draw upon their knowledge and experience at their sites, integrating theory with practice. Topics addressed will be the breadth of the forensic context, forensic psychology principles, evidence-based practices, and restorative justice.

 

 Qualifications

Clinical, law enforcement or community corrections professional work experience. Knowledge of forensic criminal court proceedings and court ordered assessments, experience with diverse populations in corrections, institutions or out of custody mandated treatment. LMFT, LFCC, Ph.D., Ed.D, Psy.D.

Prior teaching experience preferred.

Please note that courses will be assigned to current qualified adjunct faculty members who apply during the first 14 days of the posting in the following order:

1. Seniority of those who have taught the course previously up to their average.

2. Seniority of those who have not taught the course up to their average.

3. Seniority rotation above their average up to seven (7) course values.

Candidates must perform all course-related work within the State of California.

Salary: $6,480 - $10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.

 If the course is not assigned to a current qualified adjunct faculty member under the process above, it may be assigned to a new hire after the 14 day period for current adjunct faculty members to apply has elapsed.
