About the Role

In this role, you will be a key contributor to driving the implementation of the Reliability mindset and best practices across our Automotive division.

You will work in a global environment to ensure our Product Reliability strategy and Automotive-grade mindset are successfully achieved by using your reliability expertise, training/coaching skills, and strong multilevel communication capability.     

What You Will Do

• Drive the creation of Product Reliability best practice

• Drive the establishment of new Reliability methods and tools supporting the Product Reliability strategy  

• Ensure alignment and acceptance of Product Reliability Roadmap and implementation planning with key stakeholders and Senior Management across all SBUs 

• Lead the implementation of Product Reliability best practices, methods, and tools

• Monitor and report the status of implementation planning to senior management

• Use your Reliability expertise to guide and coach projects in test to failure, highly accelerated life testing (HALT), and use of simulation

• Lead creation and tracking of Reliability growth models and escalate issues to key global stakeholders

• Drive training, implementation, and coaching in the program use of product usage profiles  

What You Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science

• 10+ years of Engineering/Reliability/quality experience

• Effective communicator at all levels including senior leadership within the organization

• Certified Reliability Engineer

• High degree of initiative, responsibility, and excellent interpersonal skills.

What is Nice to Have

• Background in the design or testing of Automotive ECUs

• Experience in training and coaching global development teams

• Structured failure analysis/problem-solving experience.
