#10562 - Test Manager / Engagement Lead (Automotive S/W Testing, ADAS)

We are looking for Test Manager to lead and oversee a team of 7-9 Quality Engineers split between Israel and Canada. Responsible for testing the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) platform for our client. Engagement will start manual and grow into automation and other next gen capabilities.

Responsibilities:

-- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Quality Engineers to deliver exceptional testing services. Set clear goals, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

-- Test Strategy and Planning: Develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans for the ADAS platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with project objectives and timelines.

-- Test Execution and Reporting: Oversee the execution of various testing types, including functional manual and automation.

-- In the future likely to include performance, security, and usability testing. Monitor testing progress and promptly address any issues that may impact project delivery.

-- ADAS Domain Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of ADAS technologies, industry standards, and best practices. Apply this knowledge to ensure the thorough testing of all ADAS functionalities and features.

-- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in the testing process and develop mitigation plans. Communicate risks to stakeholders and lead risk assessment discussions.

-- Collaboration and Communication: Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, and hardware engineering. Communicate testing progress, results, and challenges effectively to stakeholders.

-- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team. Seek opportunities to enhance testing methodologies, processes, and tools to achieve higher quality and efficiency.

-- Test Environment Coordination: Work closely with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure a stable and suitable test environment for ADAS testing activities.

-- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all testing activities adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal quality procedures. Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.

Requirements

Must Haves

-- Experience as a Test Manager or similar leadership role in automotive software testing, focus on ADAS systems would be preferred but at a minimum some sort of automotive embedded system xp.

-- Strong understanding of ADAS technologies, sensor fusion, and ADAS functionalities.

-- Experience in test planning, test strategy development, and test execution.

-- Familiarity/Exposure with test automation tools and frameworks(will not be doing hands on automation but needs to be able to support reporting structure with some auto engineers)

-- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

-- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

-- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously.

-- Open to being hands on in manual testing efforts as the project is being stood up
