Scheduled Weekly Hours:

The Gundersen Heart Institute is seeking a full-time Electrophysiology/Device Registered Nurse to join their team in La Crosse, Wisconsin.  This is your opportunity to work day shift while doing the work you love in the beautiful coulee region.

What you will do:

• Fulfill 80 hours every two weeks; 1.0 FTE. Hourly position.
• Work 8-hour day shifts between 0630-1700; no weekends, holidays, or call obligation
• This role will focus on the management of cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED) and their care 
• This role also includes opportunities for incorporating clinic nursing (phone triage, MyChart messages, med refills, patient education) and patient care with learning new technology and concepts, as well as professional growth. 
• Between new medications and cardiac interventions, this is a great time to be a part of the cardiology department where exciting advances in medicine are happening!

What you need:

• Minimum of associate degree in Nursing
• RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
• ACLS recommended
• Ideal candidate will have:
  • A strong background in cardiology and a desire for continuous learning
  • Knowledge and passion for heart rhythms and electrophysiology
  • Experience with EPIC
