Job Title: Operations Research Analyst
This position performs scientific work that involves designing, developing, and adapting mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods and techniques. The work also involves analyzing management problems and providing advice and insight about the probable effects of alternative solutions to these problems. The primary requirement of the work is competence in the rigorous methods of scientific inquiry and analysis.
Qualifications
- Skill in coordinating extensive projects in assigned areas of responsibility. Projects are characterized by high visibility, unusual urgency or program criticality.
- Expert knowledge of complex subjects under study so that conclusions reflect real world environments.
- Ability to use advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices of operations research and related sciences and disciplines.
- Ability to design and build very complex, sophisticated models.

Work Environment: This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands:
- Stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time while delivering training.
- Be able to maneuver in and out of strategic and tactical equipment, and capable of lifting and moving electronic equipment more than 40lbs.

Travel: This position may require minimal travel.
