Senior Java Software Engineer - Madagascar

Job Summary:

As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance software solutions using Java and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, testing, and debugging software applications using Java.
  
• Seeking and finding solutions to facing problems.
  
• Participating in almost all software life cycle phases: from analysis, design, implementation, and integration testing to quality assurance.
  
• Understanding client requirements, analyzing, implementing new enhancements, and fixing bugs.
  
• Providing flexible software design that allows the application of change requests in a short time.
  
• Writing documentation such as: user guides, technical documentation, and design documents on Confluence.
  
• Participating in the daily, weekly, and monthly meetings.
  
• ​Guiding the team members and providing code reviews.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering.
  
• Java – Spring Boot – Git-flow - bit-bucket Experience.
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Java web development.
  
• Good experience with maven builds system.
  
• Good understanding of OOP and Rest APIs.
  
• Servlet, JSP, Apache Sling, and AEM experience would be nice.
  
• Delivery oriented person.
  
• Multi-tasking person.
  
• Good testing skills.
  
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  
• Experience in the Agile software development process.
