Primary Responsibilities:
The individual filling this position will serve as an academic faculty member in the Audiology program within the College of Allied Health, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Teach didactic courses in the AuD program
- Supervise AuD students in clinic
- Conduct research/scholarship in research activities
- Contribute to university, college, department, and section committees
Qualifications
Required qualifications include an earned doctorate in audiology (PhD or AuD), current CCC-A, eligibility for Oklahoma audiology licensure, the potential for successful didactic teaching, scholarship, and service, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience in the clinical supervision of AuD students, the ability to mentor student research, secure grant funding, and engage in collaborative research. Preferred areas of expertise include amplification, implantable hearing technology, and/or foundational coursework.
