Under the direction of Customer Relation Manager (CRM), the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:
- Update Configuration Management Database with accurate and current data;
- Coordinates with CSU Change Management on matters of software licensing, change proposals and approvals, software releases/updates;
- Management of Licence Management Database;
- Management of the CSU Definitive Media Library;
- Assist in the management of all configuration management activities in the CSU Bydgoszcz;
- Assist in the identification, classification and specification of configuration items (CIs);
- Assist in the preparation and conduct of CM specific meetings such as Change Advisory Boards (CABs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Change Implementation Boards (CIBs) and acts, as required;
- Assists in development of Standard Operation Procedures for Change Management;
- Assists in development of Standard Operation Procedures for Request Fulfilment;
- Assists in development of Standard Operation Procedures for Request Incident Management;
- Assists in implementation of the CSU Change Management policy and standards;
- Monitors the effect of service improvements and corrective actions;
- Assists the capturing, analysing, diagnosing and reporting of customers' complaints and compliments;
- Prepare periodic configuration status reports;
- Prepare other CM reports for internal and external distribution, as required;
- Performs other duties as may be required.
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Vocational training at a higher administrative level in a relevant discipline, or equivalent, or diploma of secondary education; with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
- Knowledge and experience in the specification and design of information systems, their components and architecture to meet defined business needs;
- ITIL foundation/intermediate training/certification;
- At least 5 years' experience in service operation and experience in management and use of related toolsets (e.g. ITSM);
- Prior experience in technical support and assistance for CIS Service Operation (i.e. ITIL);
- Very good understanding of use of Configuration toolset;
- Strong analytical, organization, multitasking and prioritization skills;
- Knowledge of spoken and written English is essential;
- Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including Allied Command Operations and Allied Command Transformation;
- Technical leadership experience.
