Job Title: Pharma Global Quality Project Manager (12 months contract)
Location: Krakow, Poland – Hybrid: 3 days/week onsite
This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-profile, global Quality Management System (QMS) transformation from the ground up.
As Global Quality Project Manager, you will own a multi-year, enterprise-wide programme focused on simplifying, harmonising, and modernising Quality processes across regions, sites, and functions. You’ll sit at the centre of a complex, regulated environment, driving meaningful change that improves efficiency, strengthens compliance, and enables long-term scalability.
This role offers significant visibility, influence, and impact. You’ll work with senior global stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and play a key role in shaping how Quality operates globally for years to come.
Key responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end global QMS transformation roadmap, from current-state assessment through design, rollout, and long-term adoption
Drive simplification and harmonisation of Quality processes, documentation, and systems across regions and sites
Ensure alignment of the future-state QMS with ISO standards, GxP principles, and regulatory expectations
Plan and manage programme scope, milestones, risks, governance, dependencies, and budget
Conduct maturity assessments, process mapping, gap analyses, and architecture reviews
Coordinate and influence cross-functional, cross-regional teams including Quality, IT/Digital, Manufacturing, R&D, and external partners
Lead structured change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and change readiness
Oversee process redesign, documentation reduction, workflow optimisation, and technology enablement
Support global site rollouts to ensure solutions are scalable, consistent, and practical to implement
Define, track, and report KPIs to monitor progress, risks, and business impact
Provide clear, transparent reporting to senior leadership and programme sponsors
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
10+ years’ experience in project or programme management within Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Operations, or R&D
Proven experience leading large-scale, global transformation programmes, ideally in regulated industries (pharma, biotech, medical devices, cosmetics, etc.)
Strong knowledge of QMS frameworks, ISO standards, GxP requirements, and Quality processes
Demonstrated ability to simplify complex systems and drive adoption across global organisations
Experience working with digital Quality tools and platforms (eDMS, TrackWise, reporting/analytics tools, collaboration platforms)
Project management or continuous improvement certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2
