Technical knowledge and experience:

• Minimum Bachelor of Science Software Engineering or related field
• 10+ years as a SW leader managing complex applications with full SW content in the automotive industry.
• Deep knowledge of embedded SW development, validation process, requirements engineering.
• Vector AUTOSAR applications
• Full Vector based OS/RTE
• Multicore applications
• Experience driving team to successful ASPICE assessments.
• Experience with Battery Management System (BMS), Master Controller, Zone Controller and Engine controller applications.

 

Leadership experience:

• Strong leadership, driving teams with complex and large SW content (60+ team members globally)
• Detail and process-oriented person.
• Ability to quickly identify competence gaps and take necessary measures to drive team to close gaps.
• Ability to drive team to structured and lean SW development, requirements engineering, validation, problem solving and change management.
• Ability to lead under conditions with pressure and complexity.
• Effective internal and customer communication.
• Ability to effectively partner with global SW organization to maximize results for North American projects.
• Fast paced and action-oriented person to help turn-around projects to successful outcome.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead SW engineering team for a Tech Cluster in NA (approx. 6 direct & 28 indirect reports).
• Effectively drive project execution, timely and high-quality project deliverables, prompt problem resolution, customer communication. 
• Drive team personnel development.
• Organize regional team to maximize efficiency and results.
• Drive SW function development roadmap for future applications.
• Drive a competitive and cost-effective SW organization to acquire future new business in the region.
