PROJECT ENGINEER

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent on assigned projects to ensure project success and profitability. 
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with all project participants and ensure cohesive flow and distribution of project administration and requirements.
• Review and distribute Submittals, RFIs, maintain Logs and all material and equipment procurement in correlation to baseline schedule.
• Attend meetings and maintain meeting minutes with Project Manager’s supervision
• Monitor and manage contract drawing revisions and maintain record drawings for as-built documentation.
• Recognize and manage project changes/revisions with cost and schedule impacts.  Includes receiving, reviewing, and preparing change orders for Project Manager’s review.
• Review and understand specification requirements for closeout documentation at project completion.

Qualifications and Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Construction Management with 1+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, dependable and functions effectively in a team environment.
• Great organization and time management skills
• Familiarity with AutoDesk Build (PlanGrid), Microsoft Office Products, and Primavera P6
