We are a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Regional Sales Manager. This position reports to National Sales Manager, SAM and will work in the Midwest Region of the United States.

As Regional Sales Manager on the Dometic Marine Aftermarket team, you will be the business manager for the assigned Midwest region. You will oversee developing and growing brand awareness and sales through the Ride & Handling, Boat Living and MPS product channels. This development will be across all sales channels including distribution, dealer, and consumer networks.

General Responsibilities

  • Drive various business initiatives through all channels to align with the regional and NA Aftermarkets overall goals & objectives
  • Promote and drive new product placement and sales through all available channels
  • Manage marketing funds to best promote and support the regions objectives in line with the overall P&L goals
  • Direct and manage the assigned rep group to best meet the goals of the region
  • Build a network of key dealer partners in the region to assist in product placement, installation, and feedback
  • Fully support and drive all initiatives around the SAM (Service & Aftermarket) including all dealer development initiatives
  • Develop and support Optimus dealer opportunities in the region. Including identifying new Optimus dealers and supporting existing customers
  • Identify and work with Dealer Services Manager to develop regional Optimus training centers
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and growth of the company Dealer Program
  • Manage the regions distribution network to drive business growth and align with company- wide initiatives
  • Responsible for trade show development and implementation in their region

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for this role will bring demonstrated success in Marine Service & Aftermarket Sales environment. Additionally, they will You have acquired the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant sales experience in the marine industry
  • Marine technical background or understanding of marine operational systems preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proficient in Salesforce or ability to quickly learn applications quickly.
  • Resides in region represented
  • Travel within region <70%, and opportunity to travel outside of assigned region on occasion
