Coordinator, Business Operations - Pediatrics

Join our team and play a key role in supporting the Pediatrics Oncology department! In this dynamic position, you’ll handle essential tasks such as processing purchase orders, coordinating travel logistics, managing complex calendars, and crafting clear, professional correspondence. Your organizational skills will help keep our operations running smoothly and ensure our team can focus on delivering exceptional patient care. 

 

 

This position is located onsite at Texas Children's Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.

Job Duties

• Prepares and processes purchasing orders.
• Manages domestic and international travel in the travel management system (Concur).
• Composes formal and informal correspondence including, but not limited to, creating and formatting presentations.
• Calendar scheduling and maintenance.
• Assists with timekeeping.
• Submits expenses for reimbursement.
• Inspects and troubleshoots shared department equipment.  Facilitates service calls as needed.
• Provides additional support to faculty members as needed.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Voyager, Concur and Jaggaer systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
