Opportunity:
A Maintenance & Setup Technician performs machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and maintenance support to ensure reliable and efficient production. This role adjusts equipment parameters, resolves mechanical or electrical issues, and supports preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.
Technicians bring advanced mechanical and technical skills, handle complex adjustments and tooling changes, and support continuous equipment improvements while collaborating with Production and Maintenance teams to maintain safe, high-quality operations.
- Pay: $25 per hour
- Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (3-day weekends!)
- Overtime: Occasional
Responsibilities:
- Provide input to improve people, processes, and operational effectiveness.
- Demonstrate competence within assigned job tasks and technical duties.
- Understand and execute job requirements to meet operational and performance standards.
- Identify risks, gaps, and issues that may negatively impact performance.
- Properly use and operate designated material handling equipment (MHE).
- Demonstrate technical competence with tools, tooling, mechanical components, and equipment requirements.
- Understand machine operation fundamentals to avoid negative impact on production.
- Adjust, maintain, or repair equipment as required to support operations.
- Understand available data inputs and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Provide inputs to technology systems to capture relevant operational data.
- Understand and demonstrate the importance of achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Recognize the impact of performance on equipment utilization and schedule completion.
- Provide input and execution support to consistently exceed performance expectations.
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Support identification and prevention of potential hazards.
- Contribute to risk reduction, waste reduction, and minimizing operational impact on surrounding areas.
Your Contributions:
- High school diploma required; on-the-job training and experience expected.
- 2–5 years of functional or technical experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical, tooling, and technical aptitude.
- Ability to identify issues, assess risk, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Working knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance principles.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.
