Job Location: Jacobi - Bronx, NY 10461Position Type: Regular Full-TimeSalary Range: $346,000.00 - $356,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: 1Job Category: PhysicianPhysician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. The faculty represent all specialties within OBGYN including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Genetics, Gynecologic Oncology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Urogynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology. The Department focuses on delivering the highest quality care to our patients. We employ multidisciplinary simulation, huddling, and debriefs to promote teamwork and standardize care to continually improve our processes. We have a relatively young faculty that is eager to develop academically and work collaboratively with nurses, midwives and physician assistants to deliver the highest quality care to our patients in a safety net setting.

Opportunity Details:
- Provide gynecologic surgical care to patients, including minimally invasive techniques
- Provide support for other gynecologic surgeons who are not as well versed in minimally invasive technique
- Provide supervision and teaching to Fellows, Residents and Medical Students
- Participate in Performance improvement (PI) Activities for the OBGYN department
- Assist in the formulation of protocols
- Participate in didactic sessions for medical student and resident education
Qualifications
- Board Certified in General Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, preferred
- Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Focused Practice Designation, preferred
- Robotic Surgery experience, preferred
- Gynecologic ultrasound experience is highly regarded but not required
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $346,000* (board eligible); $356,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $490.800** (board eligible) and $501,200** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
