Registered Nurse - Full-time or Part-time

CIFC Health's Internal Medicine Department is seeking a full-time or part-time compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse RN) to join our team.  You will work alongside the doctors, nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals to provide the highest standard of care to our patients.  

Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. Performs clinical assessments of patients in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychological & cognitive status.

2. Implements care in knowledgeable, skillful, consistent and continuous manner.

3. Establishes priorities of patients care based on essential patient needs and available resources.

4. Evaluates effectiveness of care given and patient progression toward desired outcomes.

5. Identifies patient’s/significant other’s learning needs and implements appropriate measures to meet them.

6. Coordinates interdisciplinary functions.

7. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.

8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED

- Current RN license in the state of Connecticut

- Previous experience preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual strongly encouraged to apply

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Understanding of medical terminology and nursing protocols

- Experience with electronic medical records required; eClinical Works preferred.
