Paysafe is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our Corporate accounting team within the Controllership department. This role sits in the Finance function of Paysafe, a dynamic multi-national payments company listed on NYSE.  This role is based in our Jacksonville, Florida office and offers a flexible hybrid work environment where you will have a blend of 3 in office days and 2 remote working days during the work week.

 

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Manager Accounting Operations, you will be performing a range accounting and finance tasks requiring verifications, calculations, and analyses to support related processes.

The ideal candidate will ensure related tasks are processed accurately, timely, and in accordance with policies and procedures and needs to be a critical thinker.  Due to the high paced and dynamic environment you need to be able to multi-task and be adaptable and flexible to changes.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify reports to ensure data accuracy and variance analysis as required
  • Perform calculations and analysis on various monthly files
  • Prepare monthly journal entries
  • Perform month-end general ledger and other account reconciliation and analyses
  • Prepare and analyze cost validation files

Prepare and reconcile monthly bank residual files
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting/finance, or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years’ experience in similar functions; banking industry or payment processing sector or similar fields is considered a plus
  • Meticulous and detail orientated
  • Focused, with strong investigative and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in detail and analysis of large volumes of data
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency with emphasis on Excel
