Description

 

Develop, interpret and implement financial/administrative/accounting concepts or techniques for financial analysis.

What you will be responsible for: 

  • Prepare financial progress reports, contractor status and man-hour expenditure reports, and program status reports; developing cost estimates and project budgets; supporting contract reviews; and providing financial tracking support and special statistical studies.
  • Compile and analyze financial information for one or more contracts.
  • Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projects, reports, and presentations.
  • Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
  • Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
     

Qualifications

 

What you will need to be successful in this role: 
Required:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; and zero to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access)
  • Self-motivated and can meet deadlines
  • Position may require a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT)
    • In order to obtain an MRPT, qualified candidates must be a US Person

Preferred:

  • Ability to maintain strong customer relationships
  • Prior government contracting experience
