Machine / Facility Maintenance Tech

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machine / Facility Maintenance Techs for projects located in and around Ruther Glenn, VA.  This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Machine / Facility Maintenance Tech and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

• Perform routine service and preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various machines

• Replace components such as cylinders, pumps, bearings, and other machine parts

• Set up and conduct minor repairs on hand tools and machinery

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues related to machine operations

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repair assistance, parts procurement, and service-related needs

• Conduct troubleshooting and minor repairs on air compressors and associated systems

• Install machine-related systems including vacuum lines, ductwork, and other auxiliary components

• Operate various types of mobile equipment, including proficiency in using a 60ft articulating lift

• Other tasks as assigned

 

Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively in a multi-functional team environment
• Proficiency in using computers and tablets to input data into maintenance management systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs
