We are currently looking to hire a Corporate Protective Services Manager to join our team (embedded with our client in Mountain View, CA!)

*This position requires travel and onsite office protection at either the Mountain View campus or the Downtown San Francisco, CA office.*  

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Corporate Protective Services Manager position requires an exceptionally talented, personable, and self-motivated individual to work in a hybrid position. The individual will provide comprehensive security risk management for global event security and executive protection support to the client corporation in both domestic and international locations. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Director of Protective Services to effectively drive the implementation of all event security programs within the scope
  • Safeguards principals from all forms of security and safety hazards
  • Provide close protection services and support to the Principal and other Executives 
  • Prepare comprehensive event security operation plans for global events to include security risk assessments, communications plans, protection detail operations, medical response, and emergency evacuation plans
  • Prepare and oversee executive travel plans to include evacuation contingencies
  • Manage and maintain partner/vendor relationships
  • Liaison with internal stakeholders/partners to achieve objectives and leverage both internal and external resources for program efficiency while providing exceptional customer service
  • Identify and mitigate risks occurring at corporate events
  • Respond to executive or event emergencies
  • Assist in the development and implementation of SOPs
  • POI management for unsolicited contact (visits, mail, phone calls, etc.)
  • Securing the arrival and departure routes for key executives when requested
  • Write assessments on executive travel itineraries/schedules for potential risk and suggest mitigation strategies
  • Complete daily requests from management and other duties as assigned
  • Provide management and oversight for Protective Services Agent

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of related event security experience in corporate security.
  • Must hold/obtain a CA BSIS required certification, including the ability to hold/obtain CPR/First Aid/AED training or higher
  • High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with senior company leadership
  • Skilled in synthesizing facts, concepts, and principles
  • Emotional intelligence and a customer-focused approach status.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to
