ChristianaCare is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant for their community-based practice in Wilmington, DE.

You would assist with selected dental and oral surgery procedures for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients under the direction and supervision of the Dental Supervisor and Dentist. In addition, you would be performing a variety of clerical, laboratory and radiologic, and office duties.

As a dental assistant you would be joining a practice with 9 Dental Assistants who support 3 employed Oral Surgeons, 3 employed dentists, 18 residents & 20 rotating community dentists over all 4 OMFS/dental practices and both the main & Wilmington ORs.  There are 19 rooms and 5 procedure rooms.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 7:45a -4:15p

Position Qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited Dental Assistant program.

• Certification to perform dental radiologic procedures.

• One-year previous work-related experience.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
