The Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Directly contribute to global projects and missions, including Domestic (US based), Pacific and European locations.
• Lead and oversee planning, design, and execution of civil design for a wide variety or project types
• Direct and mentor junior teammates, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Client-facing civil engineering support on projects with client base that typically includes Department of Defense (DOD), United States Corp of Engineers (USACE)
• Professional will have significant interaction with multi- disciplinary internal teams and external clients
Assigned to projects for U.S. Government Agency/Department clients. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee civil design including site design, grading, roadways, utility design, storm water management, erosion and sediment control, facility design, and airfield design
• Lead and oversee development of project deliverables including drawings, design analysis, specifications, and calculations
• Lead quality reviews to ensure project compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Manage civil scope, schedule, budget, and quality on assigned projects
• Actively mentor / share knowledge with other staff members
• Perform construction period services including submittal reviews and responding to contractor requests for information
• Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines, project team, and client
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or in active pursuit of license
- Federal industry experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
