Global Commercial Transactional, within the Global Service Business Unit is working across the aftermarket transactional business areas of the Service business. In close collaboration with global functions and service regions across the globe we are developing the commercial transactional strategy and day-to-day improvements supporting our sales regions fulfilling Vestas´ "Profitable Growth" strategy. The team is responsible for gathering and sharing best practice, implementing global initiatives across the value chain and sales regions, subsequently ensuring that the transactional business is operated as efficiently as possible. Transactional business performance is likewise globally tracked across financial, processes and systems ensuring that we understand, and drive continues improvement agendas across regions and functions.


Responsibilities
The role reports directly to Head of Global Transactional Commercial Enablement. As a Specialist, you will bring commercial expertise and experience from sales or business consultancy, while having a strong business understanding for developing and driving improvement initiatives across a complex global matrix organization. You will take lead in strategize our product offering in inventory sales campaign, ensure continuous improvement in inventory optimization through excess sales. You will work closely with SMEs from other functional areas such as supply chain, pricing & costing, finance, and regional sales, ensuring that process and operations are optimized.
This position focuses on, including but not limited to:

  • Act as global partner for our regions, setting the standard and driving global best practices for Excess inventory  sales performance
  • Spear head the interface on fulfilment of Excess sales targets, with main contacts working in Supply chain, Finance, Pricing, and Regional sales
  • Cooperate with subject matter experts and stakeholders driving cross functional and cross regional improvement initiatives
  • Establish commercial intelligence capabilities in collaboration with the global and regional service sales organizations
  • Develop and analyze performance tools and views in reporting systems (SAP and SalesForce)


Qualifications 
The position is very central in the service business thus previous experience with the industry is beneficial but not a prerequisite: 

  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience within commercial area, Aftermarket salesproject-, performance - or supply chain management with preference for renewables
  • Ability to "connect the dots" and "see the solution"
  • Proficient communication skills and able to bring people together and work in the same direction
  • Familiar with Salesforce, BI is beneficial
  • Experience from a global corporation, working in teams with diverse professional, cultural and geographically located colleagues

  • Ability to familiarize with various system and processes across business functions. Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end value chain
  • Positive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Good stakeholder management skills, where presentation and working with leadership functions has been focal. It is key to be able to communicate and collaborate across corporate level, and professional and cultural background
  • Be comfortable personally and professionally in a commercial environment where deadlines can be short
  • Sharp technology aptitude, general technical knowledge, while having the curiosity in the innovation space
