The ARCHES Project is looking for a Resource Coordinator to join their team! The Bilingual Resource Coordinator is a grant-funded position that is renewable based on continuation of project funding, within the ADAP program of the Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency's ARCHES Project. DAP Program serving individuals and families in Marion and Polk Counties who are at imminent risk of homelessness. There are multiple openings for this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school Diploma or GED.

Two years of related social service experience

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Driver qualifications are required for this position. Valid driver license, insured vehicle available for use on the job, and a satisfactory drive record for the previous three years are required

Candidate must pass a comprehensive MWVCAA background screening prior to employment.

Basic Life Support/First Aid Certification is required within first 30 days of hire.

Candidate must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITES

Ideal candidates will possess two or more years of housing and homeless delivery.

Basic proficiencies in computers, and MS Office products, database software and web tools.

Must possess excellent planning, organization and time management skills.

Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form.

Bilingual English-Spanish skills are required for this position.
- To qualify as bilingual, staff must pass a bilingual exam demonstrating fluent speaking, reading, and writing in English and Spanish. Posted rate is inclusive of 2% bilingual differential.

Facilitates the distribution of program, and barrier removal funds. Ensure access to housing assessments and resources.

Assesses client eligibility and aids in gathering documentation as required for intake, enrollment, and financial assistance.

Helps clients access services beyond housing, including food; childcare; education; mental health services; healthcare; transportation; and/or employment resources.

Establishes and maintains an active working relationship with community partners including but not limited to housing specific to farmworkers and culturally specific agencies

Attend events to educate Spanish speaking households about the services that they may be eligible for
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory duties in this position.
