Position Specific Description
Support FPL Fleet Services Group by fulfilling emergent material requests, evaluating material stocking levels, resolving material discrepancies, implementing policies and programs, and interfacing with internal customers.
• Perform in-depth research of material requests and material receipt inspections, while utilizing applied materials management systems.
• Analyze and manage FPL and consignment inventories for optimization opportunities.
• Work independently in all aspects of warehouse and physical inventory control practices.
• Expedite/source emergent material requests.
• Effectively communicate with various stakeholders to include: multiple business unit employees, management, and external vendors.
• Perform basic warehouse functions to include safe operation of motorized forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Provide overall materials management support spanning several locations throughout the Palm Beach-Martin County areas.
Knowledge of inventory and materials management preferred; Knowledge of heavy truck parts or automotive parts experience preferred.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Some overtime and travel required.
Job Overview
This position performs basic technical tasks of limited scope and routine nature, to support the daily warehouse activities of the organization.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Performs material receipt inspection, processes receiving reports, and prepares and processes unsatisfactory/non-conforming receipt reports
• Coordinates material requests and performs inventory counts
• Develops a working knowledge of electronic and/or manual inventory management systems
• Develops an understanding of inventory variance reconciliation methods and processes
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
• High School Grad / GED
