As a Global Business & People Partner at Micron Technology Inc., you are responsible for driving and leading the organizational people strategy and initiatives at an executive/senior business leadership level. You will manage complex, ongoing functional challenges and drive transformation stemming from changes in business strategy and organizational priorities. You will partner with executive/senior business leaders, serving as a key advisor on the development of long-term people strategies, structure, and talent matters for the assigned organization.

You will coach executive and senior business leaders to improve leadership efficiency, enabling talent and workforce solutions through proactive consultation.  You will be encouraged to collaborate with all People functions to influence the design and implementation of initiatives and programs to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and lead the people strategy and initiatives at an executive/senior business leadership level within the assigned org while maintaining strategic alignment between the business and People.

  • Shape and drive the Business people strategy from both a global and regional perspective

  • Drive organizational people strategies and solutions that deliver business results.

  • Communicate the rationale for current policies, programs, and changes as they occur.

  • Understand the impact of talent alignment to business needs - identify gaps and prepare for future needs.

  • Act in a consultative role to enable and support organizational effectiveness and accountability to influence business outcomes.

  • Enable performance management, leadership development, and succession planning.

  • Promote a high-performance culture - identify, engage, reward, and retain top talent.

  • Foster alignment and teamwork throughout the organization - encourage harmony and insight, apply shared procedures and unified communication.

  • Influence with data analytics and presentation of metrics, leading to discussion and informed decisions.

Partner with functions to provide People solutions that meet business needs

  • Be the voice of the customer and the face of People to the customer - ensuring successful program and process development and deployment.

  • Bring the business back to People - increase visibility to the business and deliver relevant and impactful solutions to the business.

  • Anticipate and address HR related trends and issues impacting the business and provide insights, recommendations, plans, tools and solutions.

  • Drive discussions related to workforce and organization design changes and provide recommendations.

  • Participate and represent HR in strategic business plan development and advise on implications of decisions.

  • Model and instill the Micron culture and organizational values within the business.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, HR or related field.

  • 10+ years’ experience in Business/Human Resources/ Communications, or related field.

  • Experience as a hands-on leader, demonstrated strong analytical skills, and has worked in fast-paced, dynamic, and complex environments.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$141,000.00 - $283,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
