Job Elements and Position Responsibilities

The Maintenance Manger reports to the Director of Operations, N.A. This position is responsible for maintenance of all manufacturing related equipment, keeping abreast of the latest technologies for injection molding and the specification of new assets and includes accountability for the management and development of all Maintenance personnel.

 

Job Elements & Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a data driven, preventative and predictive work management program that maximizes the efficiency of maintenance and technical personnel; prioritizes for machine capacity utilization and minimizes cost of materials.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and suppliers to ensure the reliability of equipment on all existing and new assets
  • Implement and sustain maintenance processes including spare parts, CMMS, and TPM.
  • Lead the Scheduling and Planning functions working towards 90% or greater planned work vs. reactive work.
  • Responsible for installation/relocation of manufacturing equipment
  • Develop end-of-life asset replacement plans
  • Motivate and engage people through strategic vision, role clarity, coaching/feedback cycles, action-oriented culture, and clear two-way communication.
  • Train technicians, maintenance, production supervisors, and others on use and maintenance of presses and auxiliary equipment.
  • Model and drive an attitude and mindset of technical excellence and continuous improvement across the whole team, champion key processes and techniques, e.g., performance management, self-directed work teams, and asset reliability.
  • Willingness to be on call as needed to include being on site for specific operations/situations as well as assist with hands-on maint
