What Your Day Might Look Like:

• Keep our financial records sharp and up to date—think journal entries, account reconciliations, and transaction tracking.
• Manager the invoice life cycle: send them, receive them, follow up on them. You’ll be in regular contact with clients and external accountants to keep things running smoothly.
• Support our finance reporting efforts by helping prepare balance sheets, cashflow statements, and other financial docs that help us steer the spaceship.
• Help build and update dashboards in Excel/Google Sheets to keep key metrics front and center.
• Enter and manage financial data across systems, and support basic analysis to help identify trends and insights.
• Assist in payroll preparation, ensuring compliance and accuracy across the board.
• Stay on top of compliance and make sure we’re aligned with tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
• Be a go-to operational support hero—organize records, respond to queries, and keep the Finance & Ops engine running like clockwork.

Requirements

Your Superpowers 🚀:

• 1+ year of experience in a finance, accounting, or Ops role—bonus points if it involved external stakeholders or clients.
• Educational background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills—pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, maybe even a macro or two.
• Familiarity with accounting tools and principles (we love efficiency!).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Eagle-eyed attention to detail and a love for tidy ledgers.
• You thrive under deadlines and know how to prioritize like a pro.
• Comfortable engaging with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
