Job Description

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Assistant Director of NCAA Compliance

ROLE of the POSITION

This position reports directly to the Associate Athletics Director for NCAA Compliance and is responsible for assisting and managing the day-to-day operations of the NCAA Compliance Office, through interpreting and making determinations on matters related to compliance, monitoring various compliance related systems, mechanisms, process and enforcing NCAA regulations as they pertain to Division I Athletics. 

This position should have a basic knowledge of NCAA rules as it pertains to assigned job duties and the scope of employment.  In addition, this position will be responsible for obtaining proper guidance or approval from Athletics Compliance, prior to participating in select activities, as defined by NCAA bylaws or institutional policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and a minimum of one (1) year of comparable professional experience at a Division I University.  Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
