<h3>Description de l'entreprise</h3><p>Our Valuation Advisory Services has an opportunity for a position of Associate or Senior Associate.<br/>

As part of this dynamic team, you will have the unique experience to work in a collaborative environment mainly on the AIFM valuation of many Private Equity & Venture Capital funds’ portfolio. You may also have the opportunity to work on a wide range of valuation projects: Fairness Opinion, One off valuation in a transactional context (buy side or sell side), Management Incentive Package valuation, external assistance & advisory services to clients valuation teams on their AIFM process...</p><p>The underlying companies are venture capital and growth capital companies with business of different size, depending on the type of investment (from start-ups to small, mid-market companies with €0 to €700 million turnover).</p><h3>Description du poste</h3><p><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Depending on your seniority and your level of autonomy, you will:</p><p>Work as an active member of the AIFM independent external valuation team:</p><ul><li>Conduct audit of the clients valuation calculations</li><li>Review and challenge valuations appreciation</li><li>Manage the relation with the client investment team</li><li>Attend the valuation committees</li></ul><p>You may also take part to several other valuation missions that will allow you to:</p><ul><li>Bring assistance and expertise to our clients valuation teams on their AIFM process.</li><li>Work on business valuation engagements for a wide of privately owned companies</li><li>Explore and learn about the valuation issues arising in specific situations: change of regulation, macroeconomics crisis (covid 19 for instance)</li><li>Work on financial modelling and business valuation analyses using DCF, Multiples approach and comparable analysis.</li><li>Write narrative valuation reports</li></ul><p>Occasionally, you may also:</p><ul><li>Conduct financial statement analysis (e.g., common size analysis, ratio analysis, trend analysis, and industry comparative analysis)</li><li>Perform market, industry, and economic research and analyses</li><li>Review and summarize financial, corporate, and legal agreements and other documents</li></ul><p>As a result, you will be called upon to work in a position with a high degree of autonomy in terms of action, decision-making and real prospects for professional development. Your interventions will be placed under the responsibility of the Manager in charge of the Valuation advisory department. </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics</li><li>5 years’ experience in M&A / Transactions Services / Financial Audit / Investment team of Fund management companies, you have participated in multiple valuation exercises for unlisted companies as well as company diagnostics (Due Diligences, Independent Business Review, etc.)</li><li>Fluency in French and English</li><li>Strong analytical and financial modelling skills</li><li>In-depth understanding of corporate finance and accounting concepts, including GAAP financial statements</li><li>Experience working with financial databases</li><li>Highly Proficient in Microsoft especially Excel (VBA, etc.) and Powerpoint (slides desk, etc.)</li><li>Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously with competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based environment</li><li>Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills</li></ul>
