Manager, Global Fund Accounting - ETF Administration

As a Manager of Global Fund Accounting - ETF Administration you will lead a team of analysts responsible for the daily oversight process of the fund accounting outsourced providers and completion of deliverables. You will work with internal and external teams to communicate solutions for clients and provide support. You will oversee control issues to ensure adherence to quality and accuracy tolerances.

In this role you will:

• Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew. Provide guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Set performance standards, review performance, and make informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Serve as a business leader within the fund accounting organization and guide the consistency of global fund accounting oversight processes. Manage the oversight activities for a suite of funds and work with cross functional business leaders to identify and prioritize strategic and tactical business initiatives to minimize risk and increase scalability.
• Maintain and grow key relationships with outsourced service providers to ensure service levels are being met. Work with internal teams to track vendor performance and work both internally and externally to improve process to achieve service excellence.
• Work with management team in the formation and execution of operational plans to achieve departmental, divisional, and corporate objectives.
• Lead process improvements to gain efficiencies and ensure quality.
• Foster a comprehensive conceptual understanding of processes and their impact to internal and external clients within the group. Work with senior management to create communications plans.
• Maintain a deep and current understanding of global products to help drive business strategies. Recommend changes in operating model and processes to gain efficiencies and/or ensure global consistency in fund oversight activities.
• Contribute to the development in other crew members through broad fund accounting knowledge and subject matter expertise. Serve as a resource to the department and willingly share expertise.
• Proactively manage critical financial controls to ensure integrity in the daily deliverables of the business unit. Assess business needs to enhance or change controls as necessary.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

What it takes:

• Five years related work experience. Accounting or Finance related experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Finance or Accounting degree preferred.
