The Branch Manager is an experienced sales, service, and compliance leader responsible for the successful operation of a full-service financial center and team. Responsibilities include efficient management of resources and staff, developing and attaining production goals, delivering exceptional customer service, and growing membership with a commitment to CDFI and low-income designated communities. This leader will support organizational strategies by engaging in community outreach, executing on member experience expectations, building, and implementing appropriate business and risk management plans, and developing team members for optimal performance and business success. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Builds and executes branch plans in alignment with the overall business strategy. 
  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability for all branch operations and outcomes.
  • Ensures all branch operational imperatives are met or exceeded including but not limited to compliance, regulatory procedures, and expense controls.
  • Achieves or exceeds all sales and service goals; ensures accountability for teammates to do the same. 
  • Engages with data to identify recommendations and propose solutions that promote team, branch and community success.
  • Manages all audit requests, inquiries, and solutions.
  • Manages the branch budget to ensure adherence and alignment with organizational priorities. 
  • Oversees formal and informal coaching that contributes to the individual success of team members.
  • Demonstrates personal commitment to SCU Values in interactions with internal teammates.
  • Demonstrates decisiveness, integrity, flexibility, and critical thinking that advances team, department, and organizational success. 
  • Strong leader in loss prevention and safeguarding of member assets.
  • Seeks out community partnerships, follows up on community outreach opportunities and maintains relationships with key community partners.
  • Leads by example regarding sales and consultative process with members; Demonstrates exceptional level of product knowledge and sales acumen.
  • Develops skills in teammates so they can deliver balanced support that meet or exceed member needs.
  • Committed to coaching employees towards exceptional care and service, specifically with underserved communities.
  • Demonstrates a propensity toward curiosity, and inclusion; engages others with dissimilar backgrounds. 
  • Effectively adjusts to changing and evolving priorities and expectations.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with all levels of teammates across the organization.
  • Regularly provides input and recommendations that advance team success. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate degree, or higher, in business or similar areas of study; or direct experience equivalent
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in financial/banking services
