Greetz in NL and Moonpig in the UK together form the Moonpig Group since 2018. <br/>As Sr. Buyer - Gifts, you are responsible within Greetz for your own Gift categories. You will build your surprising assortment for the categories you are responsible for. With this, your goal is to push key KPIs. In addition, the focus will be on strengthening the commercial results of the entire Gift range by initiating and introducing new relevant propositions and initiatives. <br/>You know how to underpin these with data and insights. You supervise strategic projects and introductions and know how to motivate stakeholders to contribute to these. You have no problem combining this long-term development daily with supplier management, operational tasks and bringing speed to your team. As Sr. Buyer Gifts, you will<br/><br/> report to the Head of Gifts and have 2 direct reports. <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>You develop strategic plans and convert these plans into concrete targets and KPIs for sales, margin, product development and marketing; </li><li>You will translate customer needs into new initiatives and propositions for future strong growth. </li><li>You initiate and create business opportunities. For this, you make the business cases and supervise the introduction including stakeholder management. In this, you work together with the Head of Buying. </li><li>You will build the most relevant and surprising assortment for the Gift categories you are responsible for; </li><li>You ensure an optimal product mix within your range. You think about growth possibilities, opportunities and risks, customer needs and cross- and upsell possibilities; </li><li>You will be responsible for revenue and margin development for the range; </li><li>You optimise the shops through assortment and product development and -rationalisation based on data-driven insights from category results; </li><li>You will be responsible for supplier management: procurement, contracts, negotiations, relationship management, annual agreements and promotions; </li><li>You monitor and report category results and you know how to turn these results into concrete next steps to improve results; </li><li>You will lead a Buying Admin and Buyer Coordinator; </li><li>You will work closely with trading, marketing, product, supply chain and operations to continuously improve the results of your categories; </li><li>You provide your forecasting with information regarding commercial developments; </li><li>You will work closely with parent company Moonpig to connect with new developments and best practices.</li></ul> <h3>About you</h3> <ul> <li>Completed HBO/WO education towards business administration or economics; </li><li> Minimum 7 years' work experience as a Buyer and/or category manager. Preferably in the e-commerce industry; </li><li>You have managerial experience; </li><li>You have strong analytical skills and excellent planning skills; </li><li>You are a proactive builder and take colleagues along with you through strong business cases and presentations; </li><li>You have mainly experience in B2C with focus on gifting assortment; </li><li>You are strong at negotiating and building relationships with suppliers; </li><li>Able to turn complex data into concrete plans; </li><li>You know how to manage stakeholders well. You know how to motivate and move them to support strategic projects; </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Dutch and English.</li></ul>OfferWe offer a challenging position in a nice team and a nice organization where there is attention for each other.
