In this role, you will:

• Engage with product development project teams and specifically the product developer requester to understand learning gaps and design standard or customized studies to inform critical product development decisions. 

• Build understanding of absorbent test methods. Support test method development and validation work to develop new and improve existing methods 

• Support approaches and coordinate testing to build new tools (e.g. predictive models) to enable more efficient decisions 

• Partner with the Lead and Senior Scientist for the mannequin/absorbent area. Escalate needs. 

• Partner with Consumer Testing team to ensure absorbent testing is consumer relevant. 

• Lead urine, lab technicians to execute studies in a safe and effective manner.  Partner with lab technical coordinators to effectively manage lab operations. 

• Work within a broader team to develop methods to answer business unit absorbency needs

In one of our R&D roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Science or Engineering Field. 

• 1+ years of experience in product development, physical testing or consumer use testing role.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects in a team environment, delivering results in line with business expectations. 

• Knowledge of statistical design of experiments and statistical analysis. Uses tools such as JMP, preferred.

• Experience designing and implementing testing protocols in a related CPG category, preferred.
