This position is responsible for providing accounting, financial, auditing, reporting, and administrative support for inmate organizations, inmate banking operations, and the EHCC Who Date Café. Job Duties:- Reviews expenditure requests submitted by inmate organizations for individual club activities, club operations, concession resale purchases, donations, and other approved expenditures.
- Ensures sufficient funds are available prior to processing request and verifies all supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, proper approvals, and compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Researches requests as necessary and determines whether expenditures should be approved or denied based on available funding, organizational purposed, and established guidelines.
- Maintains accounting records for all inmate organizations utilizing the QuickBook accounting system. Posts deposits, checks, journal entries, adjustments, and other financial transactions to the appropriate accounts.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each inmate organization utilizing computerized accounting systems.
