Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Co-op tasks across many accounting functions including, general ledger, accounts receivable & payable, payroll, and consolidations. You'll be responsible for the preparation, analysis, review, verification, and reconciliation of our accounting records and financial reports while establishing and maintaining accurate financial records. You'll learn it identify and investigate questionable data and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies
Must-haves:
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting who has taken or in the process of taking intermediate level accounting classes
- Pursing a career in the accounting profession
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience with MS Office products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Accounting experience a plus
