SENIOR REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR

Port Charlotte, Charlotte County, FL.

Annual Salary:  $70,699.20 (Non-negotiable)

Paid Bi-weekly.

 

Shift:  7:00 a.m. – 3:30 a.m. (30-Minute break)

This position is eligible for overtime pay.

The FDVA Nursing State Nursing Homes are designed employment sites for the Nursing Student Loan Forgiveness Program.

From funds available, the program may make nursing home education loan repayments of up to $4,000 per year, per nurse enrolled in the program, for a maximum of four years.

Payment is made at the end of each 12-month enrollment period and made directly to the participant’s lender.

Enrollment and payment of awards is based on available funds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Florida Statute 464 or eligible to practice nursing in accordance with Florida Administrative Code 64B9.
  • One (1) year of supervisory and/or nurse administrator experience.
  • Current CPR from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability and willingness to work a minimum of every other weekend, holidays and during natural disasters as needed.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Electronic Health Records.
  • Successful completion of due diligence process, to include a Level II Background and drug screen.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in long-term care or 120 bed skilled nursing facility.
  • Experience in Matrix Care.
  • Experience in staff development and training.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Provide quality professional care to the veteran residents to ensure their health, safety, and security in accordance with established agency Standard Operating Procedures and Nurse Practice Act.
