Senior Level Designer

We are looking for a Senior Level Designer to support the <a href="https://www.huntshowdown.com/">HUNT</a> team. As a Senior level Designer, you will design and create fun, exciting, and beautiful environments from conception to completion, creating paper designs, contributing to design discussions and solving design challenges within the team. Appreciation of technology and architecture is a plus. Senior Level Designers are expected to support and mentor level designers within the team, working closely with team leads to ensure the vision of the game is presented in the missions appropriately as well as potentially owning multiple levels simultaneously. As a member of the HUNT Showdown team, you demonstrate excitement, passion, and dedication as a team player with a self-driven attitude and the willingness to learn and grow within the team. Sample pictures and a portfolio link, which shows sample work are necessary. <br/><u>Relocation &amp; Remote Work</u>Although we believe living close to our studio helps foster team spirit and stronger bonds between team members, we understand that people have different needs and expectations for their place of residence. If you are interested in full-time remote work in any other country outside of the European Union, we can offer you a freelance contract arrangement. <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Execute the design direction and be responsible for designing and building level content from whitebox to final quality.</li><li>Mentor, encourage, and inspire team members around you.</li><li>Take part in playtesting and ensure feedback is applied.</li><li>Proactively solve issues and seek feedback to ensure your work is always the best it can be.</li><li>Communicate and work closely with other departments.</li><li>Ensure your work meets technical standards and is bug-free.</li></ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of professional experience as Level Designer in the Games Industry.</li><li>1 or more shipped AAA titles on PC, Xbox or PlayStation.</li><li>Excellent sense for design and creating outstanding user experiences.</li><li>Experience designing levels for multiplayer or singleplayer titles.</li><li>Strong spacial and layout skills.</li><li>Ability to adapt to new technologies.</li><li>Solid English communication and writing skills.</li><li>Understanding of level design principles, pacing and mission flow</li></ul> <h3>Pluses</h3> <ul> <li>Previous team leadership experience.</li><li>Experience with visual scripting <u>or</u> experience with 3D modelling software.</li><li>Working knowledge of CRYENGINE Sandbox toolset.</li><li>Strong communicator who is able to easily present ideas and information to the team.</li><li>Understanding of game design theory and practice.</li></ul>What you can expect from us<br/>Home Office Work-life balance is not just a hollow term for us.
