I. Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cybersecurity Engineering Manager to lead and evolve our enterprise-wide security engineering function across a diverse technology landscape that includes traditional data centers, operational technology/SCADA, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS solutions. This role is responsible for the architecture, deployment, and continuous improvement of security technologies that protect our infrastructure, data, and users. Success in this role requires a forward-thinking leader of people—optimizing existing tools and associated procedures while actively evaluating emerging technologies and the evolving vendor landscape to identify and close gaps as the threat landscape continues to evolve.
You will drive the integration and consistent application of controls across office and field environments, ensuring all solutions are both operationally sound and strategically aligned. Equally important, you will focus on team and resource development—ensuring the organization is positioned to meet both current and future security challenges through scalable engineering practices and a strong talent pipeline. The ideal candidate will have enjoy leading and building teams with a strong understanding of the threat landscape as it impacts our unique business value streams, and will deliver security controls that are tightly aligned with those risks.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous growth.
- Champion the development of team capabilities by aligning skills, resources, and responsibilities to address evolving threats and meet dynamic business needs.
- Develop an understanding the organizations business value streams and implement security strategies, architectures, and roadmaps, aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Research and evaluate emerging security trends, threats, and technologies, and provide recommendations for adoption and integration.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate our security tools into operations and architectural design, with an awareness for AI and agentic capabilities across the security stack
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and administration of key security technologies across attack surface management, endpoint and data protection, cloud security, email security, network security and the safe and security adoption of AI.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of our security operations, tools, processes, and recommend improvements and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into operations and architecture.
- Promote a culture of proactive security and continuous improvement across the organization and establish metrics and KPIs for measuring the effectiveness of security controls.
- Support, enforcement and adoption of IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Enhance procedures to deliver security risk and business impact assessment and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Coordinates with business owners and the BISO function to determine business needs or requirements.
- Acts as a team leader establishes and communicates common goals and direction for the team.
