THE JOB:
The Environmental Services Supervisor at MGM Grand will set the stage for guest experience with your smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, the candidate will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
 

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Responsible for supervisory duties for team of environmental Services (EVS) employees. Assists with scheduling, coaching, counseling, discipline and training of employees

• Manages employee questions and guest concerns to ensure all department procedures, policies, and service standards are being adhered to during shift

• Provide direction and support to achieve the highest cleanliness standards in the Casino, Public Areas, Offices and other required areas

• Conduct daily inspections, briefings and team updates: meet with employees as needed for training, coaching, and facilitating required compliance training

• Responsible for preparing end of shift report and manage any property maintenance issues with facilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

• Assist with other administrative and operational functions in collaboration with department leadership

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant prior experience

• Experience in general cleaning within a five‑star/five‑diamond resort environment preferred
