The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

 

As a Part Time Student for John Deere Reman located in Springfield, MO, you will...

 

  • Facilitate Continuous Improvement initiatives by making sure project status is clearly understood, warranty savings are documented, and timelines are met
  • Participate in the emerging issues meetings and failure analysis discussions.  Help identify and document new Continuous Improvement projects
  • Create reports on quality metrics and distribute to the team
  • Support and help facilitate special improvement projects

 

This position is not available to students on immigration visas. 

What Skills You Need

 

  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in an engineering discipline; others may apply
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university
  • Graduation date of December 2024 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly
  • Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly
  • Must be able to commute to the work location in Springfield, MO on a daily basis year-round
  • Pursuing a BS in Engineering, Technology, or Business related field
