Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated digital product manager to join the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Digital Client Experience & Platforms team. The Digital Client Experience & Platforms team defines and drives the online and mobile experiences for Morgan Stanley clients. In the Product Manager (AVP) role, you will inform direction and contribute to the creation and on-going success of the latest digital solutions for our clients.
The Digital Account Opening team drives and defines the online customer experience for the Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE account opening and onboarding process. Our user experiences are targeted to users across the firm in a wide-ranging set of self-directed products, including brokerage, retirement, banking, stock plan, robo-advisor, and more. Our team is responsible for delivering the digital client-facing experience for a variety of digital platforms, including E*TRADE, Morgan Stanley Online/Mobile, and Morgan Stanley At Work.
The individual in this role will be responsible for supporting the product team in defining, building and improving the end-to-end account opening user journey for a variety of new and existing products at Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE. The applicant should bring a strong product management skillset with key focus on providing a best-in-class end user experience, understanding the competitive landscape, and the ability to drive improvements and change using through both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Experience working with Agile development methodologies is preferred. Partnership and collaboration with a variety of product groups across Morgan Stanley will be key to success.

Responsibilities:
This role will assist in supporting the Digital Client Experience for the following:
Support a Senior Product Manager and Fleet with definition and prioritization of product roadmap, release planning, development and communication and documentation of business requirements
Build and maintain prioritized product backlog – identify, groom, and validate epics and user stories for agile sprints
Work with Senior Product Manager to define and draft requirements in Jira (Agile) for key strategic programs and tactical projects
Support backlog refinement and sprint planning ceremonies to communicate requirements and drive consensus with the squad and program stakeholders
Work closely with the technology team to assure effective communication of requirements and rapid delivery of key product releases
Collaborate with key stakeholders from business, technology, UX, risk, cyber & fraud, communications, legal & compliance to elicit requirements
Prepare presentations and status updates and conduct product demos for fleet and senior leadership
Gather, organize and assimilate internal and external feedback to identify and prioritize product gaps, enhancements and new features
Identify and elaborate on critical user journeys, use cases, workflows, and business processes that align with the product vision/goals and address critical user and control needs
Collaborate with UI/UX team to develop information/interaction architecture, user flows, wireframes and visual design comps
Team up with Program Management Office / Business Transformation to effectively organize and plan product releases
Support Senior Product Manager in issue remediation (defects, production issues, etc.)
Support Senior Product Manager in product testing and execution
Organize the product backlog and work with TDM to align the roadmap with other squads
Create and circulate status reports and release updates
Qualifications/Skills desired:
5 years+ of experience as a software or digital product manager, business analyst or equivalent with experience working within an agile/scrum development process
Bachelor’s degree is required
