Job Description

DUTIES: Provide technical leadership in designing and developing software applications using Java and Spring; query data using SQL; test and validate code using Spring Tool Suite, DBeaver, AWS RDS, Junit, SonarQube, and Github; provide operational support using CI/CD, Jenkins, Concourse, Github, AWS UI, OneCloud, Jump, and AWS CLI; manage AWS cloud infrastructure; create relational data structures using MySQL, Postgres, DBeaver, Trino, and AWS RDS; develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Concourse, and Github; support and implement monitoring APIs; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements; and guide and mentor junior-level engineers. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience designing and developing software applications using Java and Spring; querying data using SQL; testing and validating code using Junit; using MySQL; of which three (3) years include creating relational data structures; developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Github; and of which one (1) year includes using Spring Tool Suite and AWS RDS.

SALARY: $147,061.00 to $155,000.00 per year

Compensation

Base Pay: $147,061.00
