Foamline Utility Operator

Summary:

This role is responsible for functioning as part of a team to meet production goals. This position will communicate production issues and take direction from the department supervisor on a daily basis.

Compensation for this position will be determined based on various factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity. The expected salary range for this role is between $20.00 and $23.00 p/h. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differentials, and premium pay. Essential Functions:

• Coordinate all manufacturing parameters relating to the safe, efficient production of Silicone foam
• Perform all duties related to inventory and transporting materials
• Responsible for safe disposal of scrap and waste
• Assure that a sufficient quantity of raw material base is available to meet daily production demands
• First In/First Out (FIFO) maintenance
• Communicate with various departments such as quality, shipping and value added relative to product quality issues and availability of material for further processing or shipping
• Identify and communicate quality issues and inventory discrepancies 
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
• 1+ years relevant manufacturing experience
• Forklift certified or ability to become certified
• Mechanical aptitude
