Job Overview:

The Unified Communications and Collaboration Team is looking for a Senior Unified Communications Engineer to join our team to continue to transform the way LPL Financial communicates and collaborates both internally amongst teammates and externally with customers, partners, and advisors.

Responsibilities:

  • Webex Cisco Cloud Calling

  • Cisco Webex Control Hub configuration and administration for voice and video

  • Maintain and administer Cisco telephony equipment inclusive of compute nodes, cubes, and circuits

  • Deploy/maintain Cisco voice & video products across the entire portfolio

  • Basic troubleshooting of VoIP traffic across Cisco switches and routers

  • Perform system integrity and connectivity tests to ensure system availability

  • Monitoring of associated infrastructure health

  • Troubleshoot voice communications problems of varying complexity

  • Participate in Tier 1 after hours and on-call support as part of a team rotation

  • Basic understanding of networking, including QoS

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Call Manager

  • Cisco UCCX and WxCC

  • Video units such as WebEx Room Kits and Conference Centers

  • Voice Gateways / Routers / Switches

  • Cisco CUBE Routers and/or other SBC Solutions

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in telecommunications

  • Minimum of 3 years of technical hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications suite of products

  • Flexible hours to accommodate after hours and weekend activities such as installation, testing, managing events

  • Ability to lift 50lbs, install gear and install phones

  • Must sit onsite in an LPL primary office and be able to travel up to 50% travel

Technical Competencies:

  • Experience leading large IT projects and managing vendors

  • Experience delivering exceptional customer service to executives, admins, and clients

  • Cisco network routing experience, including QoS

  • Experience supporting complex technical services in Contact Center and/or corporate office environments


 

Pay Range:

$48.13-$80.22/hour


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
