The Executive Director of Retail Health Services is responsible for developing robust retail strategies and the implementation of all retail growth and operations for IU Health’s System Health Solutions (SHS) portfolio. The leader is responsible for ensuring IU Health’s retail portfolio delivers the best possible patient and team member experience through accessibility, convenience, and great patient care. This role collaborates with senior leadership and front-line team members, executes organizational development strategy, and motivates change initiatives across the portfolio to optimize organizational potential and achieve strategic and operational objectives. The retail area consists of Urgent Care across 20 locations throughout Central Indiana. The Executive Director will also serve as the SHS liaison to our physician group operations partners.

Reports to: Vice President, Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Urgent Care
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable clinical specialty, business management or health administration.
- 10+plus years’ experience working in clinical operational oversight functions.
- Visionary leader who knows how to optimally drive change in a complex, matrixed, distributed and yet system-oriented environment.
